Does anybody know why the price of crafting materials rose so much today? Or, is it limited? (I only checked tier 5, mithril, elder wood, and silk.)

And yeah, for a while, one could buy elder wood logs, refine them, and sell them for post-tax profit. I’m always happy to let the impatient pay me to do a few minutes of work.

250 logs I had laying around = 14g today. Not a bad haul!

Cheers for the tip, had 2 stacks just sitting in my bank.

Should calm down again in a week when all the have-to-have-it-instantly buyers are done. I was thinking on the legendary too but then I realized I am both poor and lazy.

Haven’t looked into the new ones but with a lot of the old legendaries the first tier of the precursor is by far the most expensive…or at least the one that needs the most materials.

The Legend Experiment (Bifrost tier 1) needs 35 Spiritwood Planks. Tier 3 needs 2.

If you think that’s bad, the Gift of the Blade requires 4750 Mithril, 3000k Elder Wood Planks, 3500 of either or any combination of Intricate Totems, Potent Blood, Large Claw, Large Scale, Large Tooth, Large Bone or Potent Venom Sac, on top of 250 Darksteel Ingots, 250 Orichalcum Ingots, and Platinum Ingots. And let’s not for get the Stabilized Cube of Dark Energy needed.

That one love costs more than he Exemplar Blade alone.
