Guild Wars 2

I seem to have the worse luck in the world. I could never find the Leaf of Kudzu by normal means. Meanwhile, I hear of people who get it almost immediately and they already built 1 or 2 more. Therefore, I decided to do it the long way by following the books bought from the vendor in Lion’s Arch.

I’m now at the Kudzu III: Leaf of Kudzu section of the quest and despite getting all the seeds from other berries, I have yet to find it for the omnomberries and these are not prolific in the first place.

Is there a glitch in this? I hope not. I would hate to have gone through all of this only to find out that I can never get the seeds I need. I’ve also tried a friend’s node to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated.

Nope:

Crafted once per account after completing the Kudzu III: Leaf of Kudzu collection.

Whomever is telling you they have crafted multiple leafs on one account is yanking your chain.

All precursors have been crafted by now so bar any new bugs introduced within the last patches it is highly unlikely the achievement chains are broken. My guess is you are just unlucky.

I haven’t done this collection myself but if it’s anything like other legendary collections it’s just bad RNG. How many Omnom berry nodes have you tried since you unlocked that part of the collection?

I had very varied luck with the Bifrost collection, especially with the rare drop parts. The most extreme was probably the Manganese Dioxide, which is a rare drop from coral. Some days I’d get 2 or 3 from 6 nodes, other times I’d get none at all.

My solution was to set up a farming circuit on a map with several easily accessible nodes (not the map with the most nodes in total, one where it was easy to find and get to them) and leave an alt there. I’d log in to them once or twice a day to do a circuit of the nodes and it took about a week in total.

I suspect when the OP said “by normal means” he’s talking about getting precursors from the Mystic Forge or as drops. There is no limit on how many you can get that way.
