Hello all, I have opened a Google document that I would like all the community to partake in. I want us all to have an opinion or an agreeing stance about somethings that would we would like to see or change within an upcoming patch / balance patch.

It’s been split into two parts
Friends list /QoL / UI / Cosmetic.

And general Necromancer overhauls that I’d like to see.

I will be live updating the document as people comment on it, I am hoping to get good and bad feedback so I can collectively edit the document to get a more educated view of what people what.

My aims:
Simply to get the community to have their voice heard in what we would like to see brought to/back to the game.

Some of the old features that were removed why would we want them back and features that we don’t have, why would we want them to be added?

Class issue aims:
This condi vs zerk attitude to change and also the statistics. Having top tier raiding guilds say “necromancer is niche” effectively creates an animosity within pug groups – any dps spot that isn’t a tempest (because the boss lacks adds) will mostly get declined.

I understand that ArenaNet are trying to push people to get people to play multiple classes but I personally don’t want to, I love my necro, I want to do all content with my necro, I don’t want to be the best or be OP but I do want a spot in raids knowing I can be just as equally as good as an Elementalist, or even a 2k dps disparity instead of a 20k disparity.

I really agree with this we should have these pretty amazing changes implemented and i understand you can’t have everything, i think we should have majority of these done, in addition i think we should , have the old gw1 trade and alliance chat systems back in the fold they were really great systems and you weren’t just a part of 1 guild but a whole community, limit the alliance panel to 10 guilds in alliance and give them attributes like the guilds currently do

I dont know if you have played a lot of ranger but please add: Improving vanilla pets skills, in general remove/reduce casttimes of pet skills for better targeting, give rangers an option to tweak pet stats without traits (e.g something like an amulet or point distributing).
Give spider the poison cloud as active skill and the individual skill is passive.

Give porcine something like a steal mechanic because the current forage mechanic is horrible and can used against the ranger in pvp.

Moas should get inprovements to be better buff pets.

Give the fernhound either better healing power or change the regeneration to entangle enemies and applying bleed.

Improve devourer to a bristleback level of range dps and give them a ranged knockback and not a melee one.

If some fellow ranger has something to add just quote it.
