Guild Wars 2

If I purchase Guild Wars 2 directly from the website, will it give me a code in my email to register? I want to buy it for a friend and don’t want it to create an account with my email address.

You will be sent a key that you can forward on to your friend. Your friend can then register the game with said key.

I wound up putting his e-mail address in. When I actually paid attention, it said that it would send a code to the e-mail address I put in, so I put his e-mail in and used my paypal to pay it.
