Guild Wars 2

So the new zone looks nice but what’s the reason to go there? I know personally I ran around exploring, doing events, and farming for about 3 hours till I stopped myself and asked why. The events aren’t as good for farming karma or gold as Orr. Do any items specific to the area drop here or are there any unique skins from karma? In my travels I did not see any. I like the zone but atm it seems like the only thing it exists for is getting karka shells.

To grind for the new Ascended gear which gives significant stat boosts to all attributes instead of just being for resistance against the “agony” condition.

I thought that was only from the dungeon itself

No idea, but it’s pretty much as dead as any non-cursed shore map now.

A guildmate had an exotic drop. I got alot of Powerful Bloods. Found 3 Ori nodes. New jumping puzzle. So far I prefer it over frostgorge.

Also I am sure tomorrow those 2 big cannons will be used for something. Probably a world boss that will probably stay afterwards.

They also said they would add more content to the map in the future.

Oh and the best part NO RISEN!

As far as I’m concerned it’s a new map. You now have a 3rd choice between zombies and Ice. It gives a 3rd choice! Crabs!

Of course with all those little things jumping on me and latching on to various body parts I think my charr is going to need a special kind of comb...

No idea, but it’s pretty much as dead as any non-cursed shore map now.

Even Cursed Shore is dead now. No one is out in the open world anymore, which to me is kinda sad :/

I think if they just added loot and karma skins more themed to the zones people would enjoy them way more. Maybe 5 or 10 set graphics for each zone theme.

More/better loot drops :-(
So bored of getting nothing but porus bones! how the hell am i supposed to get the mats to craft my exotic gear!!!

They need better loot drops and perhaps add some more karma vendors with exotic loot. We need more incentive to be in this zone. Though for me I like exploring well enough, but the area seems rather small. I know there is one area that seems blocked off and will perhaps be opened tomorrow, but even with that area it’s still small.

Seems instanced pve got a lot of love with the fractals and open world didn’t get much at all. Which is a huge shame. You need to encourage people to be in the open world, not in instances.

karka are too strong to be solo’ing in a reasonable time, and with super large groups I rarely get to tag anything.

The only thing id go back there for are the ori nodes.

yeah i noticed that, i’d hate to be a girl in that zone…

other than that, yeah, its not too solo friendly area, wanted to get my normal dungeon group doing coe, but sadly dont know yet if route 1 is fixed
