Put back RC Golem chess please.
YES! 100% support this!

yes please, those were really interesting.
I made a character before they removed the chess, and I never tried it because I never knew about it. Had I, I would have.
Anet, I think you should bring back these mini-games because they were fun and interesting. A lot of people on the forums are complaining that the game is becoming stale. Re-adding these mini-games into the game might spark some more interest. Even if it’s only for a tiny measure of time.

I noticed they removed the mini-chess. It is not like it was too much fun to play, but WHY did they remove it? If it was bugged, you are supposed to fix it, not to remove it. – Btw, when will you reactivate HOM vendor? Thank you.

HOM got fixed weeks ago, I thought.
I’ve noticed this too when I was leveling up a warrior. They were not functioning, so I thought maybe they were only enabled during a PS instance. Did they remove it because it’s too “confusing” for people? I think it’s an impressive sideshow demonstrating the uniqueness and creativity of the event and world system of GW2 to new players. It was strategically placed in the starter areas of the game, ain’t I right? I was watching sodapoppin the other day, and I was thinking, sodapoppin (and his viewers) would have been impressed with the quest system of GW2, if only anet kept the original quest code for the starter quests near the entrance of Divinity’s Reach. What was shown was a dumbed down version of the initial quest. First impressions last as they say. Big turn off is that they would feel, “oh, this is just another MMORPG like all the others”.
This must be a bookah conspiracy! Stop interfering with our golems.
They removed it when they updated all the starting zones to streamline the new player experience, presumably because it was too complicated for being in such a low-level zone (considering they’ve even removed bundle items from the area, I think that’s a safe assumption). I can understand that it might be a little strange as the first thing a new Asura player would encounter in the open world, but it really was fun and I’d like to see it make a comeback.
Is it because all those people in China were too dumb and complained?
It was too confusing for new players.
Show me the forum posts where it was too confusing to new players. I saw no such thing. Maybe the Chinese couldn’t understand that and they posted that on their forums, but I can’t read moon runes.

I believe Anet had a focus group of around 1,000 play through the early levels so they could decide what needed doing for the new player experience update (I can’t remember where I saw this and have no source). The question is: 1,000 what? They couldn’t have been humans if they found feeding cows and playing chess difficult enough to give up on the game.
Thankfully most of the NPE has been fixed, but bundles, skill unlocks, etc need sorting out; along with golem chess!
