This months PvP monthly is taking me FOR-EV-ER to complete. The ‘gain 6K rank points’ has taken me around 65 matches to complete. That seems a bit much.

Maybe for normal PvP players this isn’t an issue. Any other PvE players having this issue?

Achievement points. And I like to occasionally PvP.

Last month you had to win 3 tourny matches, which was to easy. This month you have to play 65 normal matches. That’s a HUGE jump up.

I think that makes you PvX, and 6k isn’t that hard, play tournaments and use boosters for the most possible glory.

Meh achievement points on daily/monthlies.. worst idea ever.

If you’re taking 65 matches to get 6000 points, you’re doing something wrong. You can easily achieve this in a short period of time. There are ways to do this in <1hr as well ~30games.

Hint: Quit runnin around killing people and do objectives.

The PvP dailies and monthlies are designed primarily for people who PvP a lot. If you don’t want to do a lot of PvP then you probably shouldn’t be doing them, and If you want to get the achievement points then deal with it and do what you gotta do to get it done.

The same goes for PvE dailies and monthlies, they usually require quite a bit of PvEing to get done, but their designed so that people that primarily PvE can get them done within the allotted time frames.

How about right there? You complain about it taking forever to complete, I’m assuming this means you want it shortened and made easier. Is that not correct?

So you think it’s too hard and takes too long, but DON’T want it made shorter and easier?

The PVE monthly has WvW kills in it this month. I don’t usually do wvw, but I did and finished monthly with this option and 3 others.

Sorry bud, once you make your post, as a fellow forum goer, I have every right to post in this thread regardless of what you think of my opinion.

Anyways, what would be your solution to the so called problem then, if you don’t want it made easier?

I said it was taking ME forever to complete and asked if I anyone else was having the same issue.

Helpful responses have been ‘it shouldn’t be taking you that long’. ‘Try tourneys with rank buff’ ’it’s appropriate for ppl that pvp semi regularly’.

I apologize that I misinterpreted your post. People come here to complain and that’s about it so I assumed yours was a complaint as well. I will remove all my posts.

achievement points are for doing achievements. Some achievements are easy, some are hard.

events,
veterans and
fractals
are easy. Finshed my pve monthly days ago.

say average each match earns 200 rank points
200 × 30 = 6000
30 matches will suffice.

if not maybe average 150 points then
150 × 40 = 6000
40 matches will be okay

else … 100 points average per match then …
100 × 60
60 matches will be needed

besides, if you get 200 rank points at the end of the match, it means u also get about that much rank points during the match so total about 400 rank points per game.

i only play like 3 matches per day and i finished my sPvP monthly within half a month. i think.

6000 sPvP rank points is not really hard, just need to take some time.

3/3 sPvP tournament wins, on the other hand, could be hard. or just depends on luck. as in lucky to have 4 other decent team mates plus having decent skills oneself.

oh by the way i think “rank buff” items do not exist.
glory boosters only boost glory and not rank points.
spvp glory points and spvp rank points are 2 different things.

what profession do you play in sPvP and what is your average end match score may i ask?

i play a mesmer in sPvP, mostly in 8 vs 8 games since i kinda enjoy the mini zerg feel.
my average score is around 150 – 250 on a normal game provided if the opposing team is not too “pro” and my own team is decent enough.

oh, i also complete all PvE dailies and monthly as well. so i am a PvX player i guess.
for this month’s PvE i completed the 50/50 WvW kills since it returned.

I’ve just been doing the PvP dailies every day. I didn’t have trouble getting the monthly done.
