I see that WvW infusions give an extra +1 bonus to stat’s and also +dmg to lord etc i was wondering do the WvW +5 infusions work outside of WvW in PvE or do they only work when in WvW, as i like the +1 bonus and obviously as i do WvW from time to time it would still be handy to have that +damage modifier to lord’s and guards i just dont want to get the wvw infusions if the +5 modifier doesnt work outside of WvW

you do get the +5 stats outside of wvw, but not the +1% dmg to / -1% dmg from guards.
there are also mystic forge infusions as well (last I remember they cost around 5-25g in materials to make). They give +5 stats and +5 agony resistance (agony resistance is only useful in fratals of the mists) = http://dulfy.net/2012/11/17/gw2-ascended-gear-and-infusion-recipes/
