PvP Celestial Amulet is very strongk
So do people in those pvp tournament use celestial?
I think those people are the ones that knows most about spvp gear.
A 40% advantage in stats is A LOT.
The “small” bonus is 5/8 the size of a “minor” bonus for numerical attributes, leaving you buffed in all attributes, but underpowered in comparison with Minor and Major attributes of your enemy…. In general it leaves you spec-ing for hybrid builds. And then you see the bonus and the flaw.
It will do great against any opponent, but it doesn’t have the focus to be truly destructive, in the end a celestial build will win a battle if it drags on. Whwn DPS you can just spike ‘m and you’ll probably win, on the other hand if you have a DOT build you will probably outlast a celestial build… Problem is the middle end. If you haven’t spiked it, celestial will get the overhand, and when DOT-ing you need to stay alive quite a bit longer compared to a DOT-ing a dps build.
Major stat 932
Minor stat 650
Celestial stat 438
If you’d run a build depending on condition dmg, and healing and toughness you’d better go with settler instead of celestial…
Ele’s, engi’s, necro’s and warriors tend to do well on hybrid builds, but some do better then others.
Been There, Done That & Will do it again…except maybe world completion.
Why do I get the feeling that this thread was started by PvE players…
Hey OP, what’s your PvP Rank? ;D
Looking at this as a flat 40% increase in stats is VERY VERY one-sided view.
Per above, someone that has actually played in some higher level tournaments would have to weigh in and make a claim that the Celestial Stats are OP or not (so why not post this claim of CELESTIAL OP! in the PvP forums).
Fate is just the weight of circumstances
That’s the way that lady luck dances
all stats aren’t the same just saying just because the physical number is higher. You are assuming a linear fit which it is not always. I am sure they balance the builds. And there is no advantage if everyone uses the same gear so even if it is unbalance there is no difference.
