Playing WvW this evening, I stumbled upon a group of opposing players who were baiting people to attack them in an odd area. They would then back up and sit in a location where they could attack, though our teams attacks would register as “invulnerable”.

It seemed to me that this was an exploit. It is not at a location with a door, but an area they simply walk up and down freely. I took photos if proof is required, and it is easily repeatable by any team in that location. I hesitate to tell where this location is, because it was quite annoying and I would hate to see this action become widespread.

are you invading their borderlands?

are they inside their citadel?

No, it is near a supply camp, not near a citadel. I would hate to reveal where it is if it is not intended.

That does not sound like working as intended.

No player should suddenly become invulnerable (without use of a natural game effect from player skills) and still be able to attack you.

If these players are doing it repeatedly, then they’re more than likely exploiting something. I’d file a report.

Maybe they don’t even know it is an exploit. You should just report it to Anet and let them determine what it is. Can it be a skill? Guardians have some invunerable skills, lasts about 3s.

If the LoS works only in one direction I would report it.
