Maybe someone else has already come up with this but it would be sick if ANet came up with a PvP mode for mounts with various competitive game types including racing, some sort of capture the flag stuff like they did in gw 1 and occasionally now, puzzle races, capture the crown type where the mounts have more attack/evasive skills, etc. what do you all think? I think it would be interesting to see what they’d come up with if they considered this.

sPvP would never tolerate a mode where you aren’t directly dominating another person by force. It would have to be mario kart where every weapon is a blue turtle shell, before it would be a hit with the PvP crowd.

I don’t think its a bad idea, just not a good idea for spvp. There are surely other competitive games they can do with mounts, similar to things like sanctum sprint, dragonball, etc. And in fact they already have some of these things, for example the raptor race in Amnoon Oasis. It just wont be well received if it is attached to the spvp lobby.
