Pve troubles
searching for posts in forums is hard….. sorry to post here.
Depends what you are doing. For bosses and meta events, use the lfg tool, join a group and right click on their name to taxi into their map.
Also, as he sticky at the top of the forum says, the search tool does not work.
my maps like HoT and cursed shores are mostly 5-15ppl tho..
Depends on where you look and what categories. Play around with the subgroups because that’s where you’ll find stuff. The other day there was an encounter I expected to find in world bosses, but it was in open world squads.
I’ve never looked for something that was going on where I didn’t find something.
The exception is dungeons and fractals. Groups for that fill so fast, they barely stay up at all. Try making your own group for dungeons and fractals and see for yourself.
i tried tho to look into lfg but get nothing xD
5-15 people in a HoT map is virtually impossible. The map would be asking for a closure long before it got that low. Same with Cursed Shores.
Players are generally are spread out, but I’m not sure what advice I can give since I have never seen what you are saying you are experiencing. Map chat should be your first port of call, but lfg will work in HoT maps. Less so in cursed shore I would imagine.
Sometimes there’s just isn’t a big group on each map. I’d suggest trying to get into a world boss group/squad so you can get an idea of where and when the groups are on the core Tyria maps. You may not be interested in world bosses for PvE but you may be able to form groups from there that will PvE where you want.
The Hot maps seem to run in cycles so it’s unlikely you will find many available groups in the maps that don’t have a meta event going. Most Players join the meta event groups/squads. If you look at the 4 hot maps in the LFG tool, one will have the meta event and likely a number of groups.

Do you mean that’s how many people you see in the LFG listing?
Because that’s showing you the number of people in the party or squad you’ll be joining, not the total number of people in the map.
