I don’t know about you, but every time I download an updated for GW2 I have NO idea on when the patch will finish or how large the files are.
The percentage of the update is calculated by how many files you have already downloaded and how many are left. That means that a 100MB file will increment the percentage exactly the same amount as a 100KB file.
Wouldn’t it make more sense to base the percentage on file sizes and total patch size? At least we would have a rough ETA on when the patch will finish.
I’m Aussie, so as you can imagine I spend a lot of time watching my patches take an hour or 2 when large LS patches are released. It’d be nice to know the patch size and ETA
