Hi GW2 community! I just started playing this game a week ago and love it! I already bought the expansion. It’s like a much better version of Runescape. I probably shouldn’t even be comparing the two.

I have some quality of life/convenience suggestions, most of which are minor in terms of implementation so I hope the GW2 considers them:
Place the first-person camera higher so I don’t have to look at NPCs’ crotches
Add an option to turn off double-tap dodge! I can’t count how many times I’ve failed jumping puzzles because of this.
Add “show me” for daily quests? This isn’t too important but it’s nice for new players to not have to look up locations on the wiki so much.
Make undiscovered POIs more noticeable on the map

I’ll add any more relevant suggestions from the comments to the OP.

Double tap on dodge might be an option in the options panel. I think there is a tick box on the first settings page for it, possibly under above the raising camera heights (which may or may not work on 1st person )

May i also suggest using the QoL sticky thread at the top of this subforum, as the devs refer to that. At weekends especially, individual threads generally get lost very quickly

I’m not sure if the Camera options include first-person, but there are options.

Double-tap to dodge can be turned off; plus, there’s a dedicated key for Dodge, ‘V’ (which can be changed to your preference).

Many Dailies already show the location when clicked upon. If it has a Map symbol, clicking will open the World Map and zoom in on the location.

Welcome to Tyria, and good luck.

Thanks for the replies, I’m still new to this game so those tips were helpful! I’ll be sure to check the QoL thread.
