Hi All,

Quite a simple idea: Add the search function for the materials tab.
*Why: * Its really hard to find the ingredient you need to extract for mystic forge recipes.

The original amount of depositable materials has increased since the release of the game and I’m struggling to find certain a mats quickly to work out how many I may need to buy from the trading post for example. There is already a search function on the main bank tabs but not the materials tab.

The thought has crossed my mind from time to time that this would be helpful. Though I stare at the mats tabs enough that I know where to find things now, the lack of a search feature has been more evident as we get all these new mats from HoT without even knowing what they’re for yet. (Hi, Maguuma Burls and Lilies — I’m sure someone’s figured you out, but for me you’re just something to stash ’til I know I want you).

I can only assume new Mystic Forge recipes is only a terrible example of what you are actually wanting? That still wouldn’t make any sense, but Forge Recipes were meant to be ‘discovered’. They’re not gonna code something that instantly renders that useless.

*edit: nvm, t sounds like you’re just referring to a search bar on the actual Material Tab, which would be fine I guess, and bringing up the Forge was never necessary. If not, then I stick with my original point, but 7 small Mat Tabs isn’t exactly a lot to scroll through.

Yup a search bar on the mats tab.

Sometimes it takes me ages to remember which icon/where it is in the mats tab to pull stuff out. It would just help me know where it is faster – a simple QoL fix.

bringing up the forge was relevant as to use the forge the item has to be in your bag and not in your bank so you have to be able to find the kitten thing to move it into your bags.

same issue when depositing into the guild treasury for guild hall upgrades, trying to figure out where the hell these new mats are in there (dont want to admit how long it took me to find the linseed oil in there) and they all have to be transfered into your bags to be deposited.

the other way to fix these issues would be to have the forge/treasury be able to access items from your bank as well. but the search function would probably be the easier one to implement as they already have the feature in place for your bags.
