Quality of life improvements suggestions
I like to add other quality-of-life suggestions.
That TP/Bank NPC boat in Southsun Cove….
The north-east outpost where it is, and its WP, is pretty much always contested.
Suggestion: Make the event circle smaller so that the WP is NOT contested.
Or move that boat to an always safe place !
Preferrably close to the south-east part where the Asura portal is.
The chest thing isn’t the sole issue in that regard, but yes, it’s a big one:
- PLEASE less chests. And I don’t mean the ones standing in the world which I loot, I mean bags/chests/crates/boxes/gifts in my inventory, 2,5 million of them which I have to manually click to un-crate then process the contents.
- Right-click → Use all / Open all. Why does this not exist yet, especially in a world where you developers keep bombarding us with bags/chests/crates/boxes/gifts to un-bag/-chest/-crate/-box/-gift (see how quickly this gets annoying? :P ).
- An option to automatically follow a character. I mean, even DAoC had this. Come on. :S
- Use Stack function: Right click on a stack of luck and have an option to use it all at once.
- Better Taxi function: Right click on a name in guild chat and have a working /join party instead of just /invite to party.
- And TP gold waiting for you to pick up should be taken in the 1st place when buying an item – then gold in your inventory
Mystic Forge bulk crafting. I’m tired of manually creating each superior siege blueprint.
17) please add an option to make highlighting interactables always on, since endlessly holding the control key is a detriment to the player experience.
This and several other things being mentioned here are proper QoL changes the game should have received years ago. Why is this still not in yet?
Thorny Scrub – Thief
Desolation

A QoL improvement that’s been on my mind recently is to revert some of the jumping puzzle death mechanics. Specifically I’m thinking of Weyandt’s Revenge (often called the Pirate Jumping Puzzle, or Sharkmaw).
Back when GW2 launched, if you died on the initial decent into the puzzle, when you clicked on any given waypoint, it would teleport you back to the top of the puzzle.
This has since been changed, and really seems to serve no purpose other than to irritate players when they need to run back to the start of the puzzle from the nearest waypoint.
Is it a huge problem? No. It’s a little irritation, but one of many that piles up.
