Is there anyway to obtain these now other than buying?

Ask a friend who has the node in their home instance to invite you to a party and let you mine theirs.

Otherwise, you have to by it.

Hedition, can I ask what server you are on? Though it may not even matter.
If you want to guest to Eredon Terrace if you see me online, you can pop into my home instance to mine my nodes. Also, I frequent Rata Sum, so we may run into eachother there if you are also there a lot due to megaserver throwing people from all servers into a mixing pot. Anyway, if you see me on then give me a yell. I’m sure partying may allow you to come to the same megaserver instance I am in. Will also give me a nice reminder to mine my nodes every day.

Also to note the nodes I currently have:

• Quartz Crystal
• Candy Corn Node
• Krait Obelisk

I’m sure others have all of them, but if you mainly just want the quartz, I’ve friended you so you can see me in your Followers listing. Hit me up.

StinVec added me and was kind enough to let me mine in his home instance this morning
I would really hate to impose on others on a daily basis, but it will be greatly appreciated if you can spare a moment once in a while to let me mine some quartz.

While I can understand corns are used to buy more comestic stuff and toys, why crystals which are essential ingredient in ascended crafting not available anymore except in TP and old event rewards.
