From these sources:

Received in the invitation to the Jubilee Opening Ceremony in the mail, at the start of the Queen’s Jubilee release.
Received from each of the 6 chests on the ground in The Crown Pavilion during Queen’s Jubilee.
Looting the chest that spawns after defeating one of the legendary creatures in The Crown Pavilion.
One is rewarded via bonus chest after defeating the Queen’s Champions scattered around the world.
Randomly drops from enemies.
Purchased from an Emissary in the Crown Pavilion.
5 Queen’s Gauntlet Entrance Tickets for 20 Silver coin and 15 Watchwork Sprockets.

For many, probably, from farming the Crown Pavilion.

Yea, I still have a bunch of these in my bank. Fortunately, I didn’t delete them, although I was very tempted to do so.

I love so much of what ANet does, but I’m really tired of playing the “guess what obscure temporary event item to keep” game.

PLEASE let us sell these on TP (or at least vendor them for a few silver….). I kept a few stacks and have no desire to enter those events.

I hope not, we should use them up as a trading item for just cogs, which then on the other hand will be useable to trad in the weapon set, that was introduced with the crown pavillion and is currently not receiveable anymore due to ANet removing the pavillion in the past.

Because you could get them only when the Crown pavillion was there from a NPC inside of it in exchange for way too much watchwork sprockets.
Each skin required nearly a full stack of 250 sprockets earlier these days with 200 required sprockets per weapon skin…

But each npc gave also access to other weapon skins for sprockets.
However, all that for way too ridiculous absurd amounts of gold for inferior useless rare versions of those weapons… or who the hell is willing to pay 200 sprockets plus 5-10 gold for junk like a lvl 80 rare item thats just useless and just only rare out of the reason, so that people had an intention to use the transmutation stone system earlier on them.

I hope, when all the stuff of those old events return, that the content of those events gets significantly improved, includign all of the reward stuff from the past…. due to the point, that alot of things have changed also until today.

Hopefull those skins that cou could get all from those npcs are the next time not such a huge money sink grind, so that you can unlock this time for the new wardrobe system all of those skins easier.
Would give my skin collection a nice little boost then towards the 1000 skin achievement goal hehe, just around 123 skins for me missing till I reach it ^^
