Ello Ello!

So I gave in and finally started the long trek to acquiring everything needed for my first legendary. Hoping that along the way ill be blessed by the rng gods and get my pre before I’m done collecting my mats.

But that brings me to my thread topic… I’ve been running the queens dale champ rotation lately. But I know there’s one also for frost gorge and I think maybe in Orr? But I’m wondering what the best zone it’s best to run said rotations in? What zone is the most profitable in regards to gold/hour?

If I had normal play hours I’d assume running guild groups in dungeons would net me the most gold/loot. But since I play at off hours, I work shift and play on my nights off from around 11pm-7am twice a week. With my schedule and RL taking precedence over my game time every day aside from my nights off. I’m just looking to maximize my gold income for this grind. I also hit any zone bosses that are in their windows.

I knew once I decided to start for my legendary I’d be in it for the long haul. Im surprised I put it off this long.

Tl;dr… What’s the best champ rotation zone for max gold/mats/hour?

I only do frostgorge which im sure is better than queensdale. I’d say Frostgorge is the best there is.

Fact: every Thief tells you to “l2p” when the subject is to nerf stealth.

You get the same champ loot bags from each family of champs, correct?

They all have the same chance to drop said items/mats if its a lvl 10 or lvl 70 champ, correct?

So if that’s the case, then are the higher zones more profitable because your “trash” loot outside of the bags is of a higher lvl thus vendoring for more?

I’m fairly new to the farming aspect. That’s why I put the “vs …?” In the title.

I’m trying to find the best zone to run the good old farm train to get the most profit so I can keep forging my legendary.

So any input is greatly appreciated.

This isn’t exactly correct. If you are level 80, you have a 50% chance of getting a Champion box at your level from Champs that are not max level. And 50% chance at getting a box at their level. So, if, as a level 80, you are killing level 10 champs, you have a 50% chance of getting a level 10 Champ box with level 10 mats within. Though, some starter mats sell pretty darn well on the TP. I’m not sure what all is in the boxes as I’ve never run a Champ train. So, if you are looking for high-level mats, the high-level zones would be best.

I’ve only done Queensdale and Frostgorge and of those Frostgorge is way more worth it. I net about 6g per hour consistently. Seems no one on my server farms embers or anything else in Orr. Assuming you sell all mats you get …and i salvage fine and masterwork items with a fine salvage kit and rares with BL salvage kit.
