I can’t find the ingame help, did this sorry lot remove it? What are they thinking? Like uh, help is confusing for new players so let’s remove it? Asian shareholder nonsense?

ANYWAY, how do i quit a profession if at all possible. I have 2 tailors and i would like to drop tailoring on the lowest if possible.

Go to another profession trainer, choose a new profession, delete tailoring when queried. Works if you have a full set of professions already.

That thing wasn’t in the hint system anyway.

Thanks.

Removing the hint system though? What possible benefit could there be to it?

Turns out you can’t just drop a profession, you have to replace it. There are 8 classes so we need 16 professions. Get working Anet.

Actually, there are 8 Professions, so in your scenario, there would need to be 16 Disciplines. ; )

Replacing would be the same as ‘dropping’. If you want your character to have only one Crafting Discipline, I guess you could just ignore the other one, and not level it up.
