I was just wondering why there’s no UI or drop-down menus for GW2 emotes? I found a couple quests that required me to use emotes, and after several minutes trying to figure out where the heck my emotes were I had to Google what emote commands are actually active in the game.

Is there any emote UI in-game, and if not why not? Surely if they’ve implemented quests that actively want emotes used they’d give you in-game visual access to what ones there are. It just seems a little weird for an MMO not to include it, lol.

There’s been no UI for emotes in the 10+ years of the franchise. I’d never heard of one until you asked about it.

There’s the Wiki (also accessed from within the game), or other sources; there’s not that many emotes to have to learn. I think most of those required for content are pretty intuitive.

You could always consider adding a suggestion to the QoL Sticky above.
