I was just curious why this particular change was made:

“Armor that is currently equipped can no longer be transmuted.”

If we find a particular skin that we really like, now it seems like we cannot keep it (and apply it to new items). If I am understanding the change correctly, that means we would have to constantly find pieces that have the skin we like if we wish to keep it on upgrades because the armor that we have will no longer be usable for transmutation. That would take away from our ability to customize our character as we see fit.

If I am understanding this change incorrectly, please let me know. As it stands now, I am definitely not thrilled with that particular change.

I think all it means is that you can use a stone on armor you have currently equiped. So take it off, use the stone, put it back on.

Pretty sure it just means you need to unequip the armor before transmuting it.

I was worried about this too... As I’ve used the same set since level 10 xD (Krytan armor).

However, I realized after reading it a couple times, it’s more than likely referring to what Rshara and Raptor said. Just have to take armor off first.

This doesn’t affect me too much as I’ve done this every time I transmute.

I believe it was related to a number of bugs occurring like people wearing cultural armor that they weren’t the race of for example.

That makes better sense. Thanks! After re-reading the line a few times, I saw my error in understanding.
