Hi, considering World vs World Fall Tournament 2014 will be launching in few weeks time, will there be any increase in server capacity for the current ‘Full’ population NA servers?

Please kindly advise at your earliest convenience.

Not likely. People that want to bandwagon onto Full servers for easy rewards, perhaps such as you, are the entire reason Anet changed the reward structure for this WvW tourney. Quite frankly, I dislike people like you as you jump ship as soon as there’s a hint of rewards if you can place highly. Instead of working on your current server’s standing, you bail out and want to get onto a server where you dont have to do any work.

Hold your dislike. I’m just a new player that had chosen the wrong server but it doesn’t really matter. I just want to join up with my friends soon.

As to your answer OP, I’m afraid no one knows. The servers’ capacities are increased when a number of them reach full and high but when they do this is up to their calculations.

They might do it sometime “soon”, as in within a month since 4 are full and the rest are very high. You’ll just have to keep checking I’m afraid.

And please ignore the other person. That’s was a bit much and completely uncalled for.

Hi guys, I finally made it into my friend’s server. A few thing I’ve noticed:

- The server population varies from time to time (day to day).
- The opening for server from Full to Very high usually last less than 5 mins
- The only way to refresh the server population is by logging in and out

Here are some of my observation timings. (Do note that it only serve as a reference as they did not repeat day to day)

Time (GMT +8)

Blackgate : 06:00am – 06:04am (Wed)

SOS : 06:08 – 06:11am
SOS: 12:10am – 12:42am
SOS: 06:40am – 06:45am
SOS: 07:15am – 07:20am
SOS: 12:00pm – 12:10am

TC: 12:00am – 12:10am (Thurs)

JQ: 2:14pm – 2:16pm (Reset day/Sat)

Likely more noticeable at off times due to fewer people logging in and out at that time to see if there is an opening due to someone transferring off or server capacity being raised.

Now would be the absolute worst time to increase the cap. Wait until the tournament is over.
