HI
While browsing the forums I came across a topic regarding server transfers and server population with one of the CCs: CC Eva saying that
CC Eva.6742:“Hello everyone.
Connor, when you see a server FULL means that the people who’ve chosen that server as theirs, or players who have moved to that particular server, have reached the cap, independently of where did they create their accounts.
Answering to your second question: no, there is no chart that shows that kind of information at the moment, I am afraid. "
My question is since paid transfers are coming soon, many guilds are scrambling to join a server that fits their own needs especially for the more wvw competitive guilds.
Example: Guild A on Server A wish to transfer over to Server C as those servers seem to be looking to recruit but has its population up at FULL around the clock, but players on that server are saying that there are no one around in game even in LA. But yet Guild A is still unable to transfer over.
Question:
How does ANet deal with player accounts that have been inactive for a specified month in situations like the above example?
What if a server has a lot of inactive player account does that mean it will remain full all the way until Anet do something about it or is there a system where by the game itself flags down inactive accounts and put them away/freeze them. So that they are not included into the server population list and newer players can transfer in.

Ya I mean, I’m on a full server. And there is WvW queue 24/7. It doesn’t matter if it is 8pm or 3am or 8am, there is WvW queue. So I’m not sure why you felt it is really empty.
And quite hoestly I never went to my server’s Lion Arch area, because I’m always on overflow. The only time I visit my server’s Lion Arch is to check its population, and like you said there’s no people, but everytime I enter Lion Arch I’m still placed in overflow.
Which is a good thing, how else are we going to do fotm if no one is in overflow.
And they did allow more people to transfer twice, one during christmas, and another just a week ago. I think full is just an arbitrary term that they dont’ want you to transfer there. Most likely because they want to spread the population between servers. I don’t know if it is for social reason, technology reason or economic reason. But I think it is mostly they just don’t want you to go there.
