Will we be able to drop Black Lion keys in pvp reward tracks ( I mean having a drop chance in the bags we get) ?

You can still use them to get spirit shards on a level 80, and use the shards to promote mats in the mystic forge.

How thanks : you mean the 3 or 4 k shards i have on my account and what do i promote in the mystic forge cause i sell most of my junk ? … I don’t like pve , i don’t wan’t to pve , i don’t want to play traders online , i don’t wan’t to play craft gears.

GW was initialy a pvp game (1rst one) THEY sold this as an ESL game i wan’t to play pvp and get skins like someone playing another aspect of the game. Doesn’t that sound Fair ?

I was pointing out that that statement was incorrect. They can be converted to something useful. Just because you personally don’t find them useful right now doesn’t mean that other people don’t find them useful, or that you won’t find shards useful later if you want to craft a Precursor.

You can buy them like everyone else playing every other game mode or you can try winning in the tournaments where a legendary of your choice is offered as the prize.

Well now i understand why the world goes wrong with such close minded answers …

So basicaly if i wan’t to enjoy the game i have to craft something i don’t find beautiful and i have to do things i don’t like. Sorry but to me that’s sound the oposite of what a vidéo game is supposed to be (entertaining).

So lets resume Your thoughts : "Stop playing guild wars if you ain’t playing pve , go play a Moba if you wan’t rewards in pvp. " That’s it no ?

Nb : Buy them, but how with having to spend basicaly a full day to get what a dungeon rush gives you in 1 hour ??? (But let’s not talk about pvp rewards , just focus on the thread)

If they took out keys because people were farming them too fast, what makes you think they would want to put the keys in PvP so that people can farm them?

So should I complain that pve doesn’t drop tomes, but pvp does, but I don’t want to do pvp so pve needs to drop tomes as well?
Certain gamemodes have specific rewards that make them worthwhile to do.

Seriously though, unless they increased the drop rate dramatically (won’t happen – they want you to spend money), playing pve won’t get you much either.

It’s not about having tomes or not it’s having the chance to drop keys in bags. And pve does give tomes btw like the daily rewards tracks also does.

I don’t ask for more chance than a pve key drop , i ask if we are going to have it also or not… (I’m i talking chinese ?)

@ just a flesh you only have verry limited rewards from custom arenas. i think it’s 5 times so if the drop rate is as low as in pve … they’d be better to farm champions.

It doesn’t change at all if you have champ bag giving a key or a pvp reward bag (you actualy get less in pvp than train farming champions)

If it’s that low (essentially zero key drops in PvE) then it’s pointless to ask for it. Putting a drop rate of about zero doesn’t address your request that keys take the place of the use of tomes.

If it is high enough, say one per reward track, then that’s about one a week if you only do the daily in the custom arena and well worth farming.

So, is it as rare as a drop in PvE and not worth putting in PvP or is at least once a week and worth farming?

do you even get the chests from pvp bags? if you do I’d say go ahead and add the keys. if you don’t get chests and have to resort to buying them from the TP then i’d say no don’t add the keys.

@ Just If you calculte the accurate price of what you get into Black lion chest , you basicaly wouldn’t spend 5 times 15 mins per day to get that key after a weak , compared of what you could get playing the game.

And because something as a low chance to occur it shouldn’t be implemented ?
(That’s like saying people who have mucoviscidosis shouln’t have a chance for a treatmeant because the chance some one actualy get hit by the deasease is low.)

The chests with creature names theoretically drop keys, don’t they? They use creature loot tables, which have a chance to drop precursors or keys.

Only problem is keys are as rare as precursors, so the chances of actually get one are just laughably low.

I don’t PVP much only level 17 with 5k hours under my belt give or take, the way i see it as long as your not asking for the drop rate to be 1000X more then other game modes i don’t see why you cant get keys in PVP it just makes it fair for PVP players.

I have 4 claim tickets in my bank and I never bought a single gem

It’s RNG, I’ve gotten maybe 6 keys drop in 3 years. I’ve gotten one recently, but the one before that was about a year ago. There are other people reporting one or 2 a year dropping.
