Is it still needed to do all 3 wvw maps for 100% world?

Yes. Also, there’s actually 4 maps.

Yes, all three borderlands maps and the Eternal Battlegrounds map are all required.

Although tedious, i think getting full map of EBG will be the hardest as that area sees the most action, but the main BL maps shouldn’t be too hard if you’re in no rush to get all the points since your map color may change week to week making it a little easier perhaps.
