Question about Equipment Attributes
The equipment system has always been clumsy. I’ve always thought there should be a way to add the stats we want to use to cater to our own playstyle. But alas…
The Secksy Monk [Guild Wars 1]
Stormbluff Isle – Storm Slayer Dragons [SDS]
Where’s my power/condi/ferocity =(
currently i’m using soldier (power, toughness, vit)
but considering i’m a necro, i’d like to switch the toughness for precision as….well i’m a necro T.T
i need vit, i need power, i could go condition but honestly my current build is more beneficial to power than condition.
so sad……its one reason theif is so popular. the attributes that best fit it are in the game not once..but twice
power, prec, ferocity
and prec, power, ferocity
so theif has 2 options
but my poor necro…..stuck with one that half works.

try power/pre/tough (knights?) and/or power/tough/fer (cavalier)
I haven’t done the math for a necro (where vitality actually increases life force gen) but toughness is superior to vit in almost all cases – 1000 toughess works out as ~+50% effective hitpoints vs direct damage.
If conditions are what you stack vit to counter, ignore this entirely.

ah
ok that makes alot more sense. thanks =D
i feel better with knight now, though i still want vit due to necro being a necro. and thus being a condition horder (all your condition belong to me!…..w8 i low on hp! stop sending the conditions!! stop stop dies)
yeah… we’re good at gathering conditions, less good at getting rid of them =(

kinda jealous of theif…..again
its evade backwards removes stun, daze,
it also removes immoblized, chilled, and cripple
plus a common theif trait is the stealth ability that heals for a huge chunk of hp (the necro shroud version heals for 1/3 of what theif’s gives per secound)
but it also removes conditions.
and its a bit more spammable than our shroud (though we can maintain shroud for longer…we also get hit by conditions while in shroud. stealth can avoid combat…)
anyone else think theif stole what necros should have had?
