Guild Wars 2

So I want to buy Guild Wars to get the armor sets which is 6 HoM points.
Few questions I have:

1)Can I just buy the main game and get 6 points?
2)How long will it take for me to get 6 points?
3)Do I need the game and all expansions to get 6 points?
4)Is there a ultra bundle that comes with the game and expansion?
5)If I am able to just get the game (No expansions) how much points can I get and how long will it take to get those points.

My time limit is about 3-4 hrs per day during the week and all day during the weekend

1) No, you require at least one core game (prophecies, factions or nightfall) AND eye of the north.
2) That all depends on how quickly you beat the content
3) No, you can actually get 30 points with just a core game and EotN (although it’s the grindy route)
4) Yes, “Guild Wars Complete Collection” although it’s hard to find. Make sure it’s new not 2nd hand
5) None, EotN is required and is not stand-alone

There is a little problem though. HoM merchant is disabled until anet will find a way to remove bugged achievements soooo even if you will get points you will not be able to buy skins.

If you have a friend in GW1 it will only take a few minutes. Link your GW account for 3 points, then have a friend give you a few mini pets ( 1 rare and 1 unique – undedicated of course), take them to the HoM and put them in and you have 6 points.

I ‘prefer’ prophecies personally, but you could get the points you want just by playing the story of Nightfall and EotN making sure you get all the heroes

This is an important point. They locked down HoM due to a bug that gave some GW2 players HoM rewards when they didn’t earn them. As of now there has been no announcement for when this will be fixed.

Btw (if you cant get the minis), in addition to 3 points for linking accounts, if you get all campaigns you also get MOX (the quickest 1 point for heroes). Then by completing any storyline from any campaign you’ll get the other 2.

you can buy GW1 on Steam for €14.99 for each of the campaigns (factions, prophecies, nightfall) and the expansion (Eye of the North). As well as trilogy pack for €29.99 for all 3 campaigns (but EoTN is NOT included in that).

If you do not get any help however, and am completely new to the game, it will not be that easy, personally i got to 5pts myself (so all but head of the armor, and i rarely show head on any character anyway). 3 i got for linking the accounts so that one is easy enough :P, then 1 for M.O.X. which is a hero you get for owning the triology pack as bonus on top (other heroes need some armor upgrade thing before you can put it in the HoM, never actually got any bot MOX in there myself, MOX can be put in right away though), and then i got my 5th pt for getting a lvl 20 ranger pet. I believe you can also get another point for completing each of the campaigns stories, but somehow i never managed to finished got a little tired of my ranger towards the end so couldn’t really be bothered at the end.

So MOX+story complete+ranger pet lvl 20, i believe this to be one of the easiest for a completely new player, with help from veteran players though i am sure there are much faster ways i guess
