I recently noticed a glitch with the longbow and shortbow from Ranger. I don’t keep up with the latest news so if this was intentional then I am disappointed. But my question is regarding the 300 range change both longbow and shortbow, will they fix this?
I mean a Ranger is meant to fight from a safe distance like it says in the character creation screen when I made my Ranger, which is why I chose to play a Ranger and buy GW2 from the free trial weekend a few months back.

If they keep the Ranger as it should be with 1200 on the shortbow and 1500 on the longbow, I will stay… If not I am sorry but I will be returning GW2 for a refund.

It is not a bug so why should they fix it?

Indeed rangers are supposed to fight form a safe distance, this can however be accomplished without standing farther away than any other profession by using pets to “tank” the enemy.

Feel free to try for a refund, it is however very unlikely that you will get one just because you disagree with balancing of a certain profession.

So you’re one of those people that thinks this change broke the class completely and you deserve a refund? Last I checked 1200 was a safe distance.

What range change with longbow? The longbow was always 1200 and could be traited to 1500. Check you have Eagle Eye traited.
