Question about Kudzu creation

I’m trying get pumpkin seed, but the respective node (sugar pumpkin) only give me butternut squash seed. It’s normal ? Bad lucky ? Or a possible bug ?

The pumpkin seed is a trophy collectible item, not a crafting material. So yes this is normal and you only have a chance to get one from a sugar pumpkin.
