How am I supposed to do map completion for orr when there are champions and veterans guarding the skill points and there`s nobody else around to help? any idea?

You just do… we all have. Or find someone to help you out. Sometimes theres someone running around. Or have a look at http://www.gw2state.com/temples.html and guest to a server where the temple is open where you need to get the different POIs and all.

I’ve got Orr completion on all professions playing solo. It isn’t that it isn’t hard, this is where you learn how to play your class. You get tired of dying and start changing up strategy, skills, weapons and traits. Could be you learn where and when to use certain skills and weapons. Just keep at it, it is possible. I loved doing the skill challenge in the maze. That was always intense. I guess they called them “skill points” for a reason.

Distracting the champion with a pet or fellow player are two options. Sometimes you can immobilize them in a harmless place or stealth might last long enough. Sometimes the champs just wander out of the area for long enough to get the skill (such as the one near Jofasts camp).

Coming back another day can also work. This can also help if contested temples are causing you problems with statues.

I did it as a guardian, so having Aegis helped a lot. However, the Spy Kit is probably your best bet.

Yeah I had to do a skill point today in Malchor’s Leap. Killed a vet and immediately a nearby champion came over to talk to me about it. Popped the spy kit, communed, and raced off afterwards, with it chasing me.

They really help in these situations. ^^
