Guild Wars 2

I’ve been opening them on a level 55 toon but some people told me to start opening them on a 45 toon, for that I’d have to delete my 55 toon which I spent a total makeover for. But people can’t seem to tell me the difference between a toon’s loot at 45 and 55.
Q: Is opening them @ a 45 toon really much better?

At any given moment, the difference is minor, though. Right now, L55 is ~4.78s/bag and L45 ~5.01.

Compare to opening on an L80, which is ~2.95s.

In other words, opening on anything between L25 and L60 is fine, within 10%. But opening on L80 represents a 40% loss of average value.
