Is it a bug that you can ‘t equip two of the same ascended items. Because I got my second plague idol today and I could not equip it. If this is true , than I wasted 15/20 g today.
And why didn’t we get a warning about that. Or give us atleast a refund!

I’ve not seen any ascended items, but if the item says unique it means you can only equip one of them.

I believe the item states that it is “Unique”. Meaning you can only have one of each kind, not multiples of the same kind.

The downside to this is, there is no ingame description of what Unique even means. You have to go to outside sources (wiki) to even know what that means, or you have to of had previous MMO experience (ex: WoW) to know what that means.

That is one of the major drawbacks to GW2. For those who are new to MMOs, they have no idea what half these references/tooltips even mean. And there is nothing ingame that explains it to you. It’s like they expect you to already know this information.

Anet really needs to put in some sort of warning or popup or something that explains these things to players. It is very unprofessional to not have any explanations as to what terms mean.
