Guild Wars 2

Two questions actually. I got the portal drop about an hour ago now along with a message saying I should receive an e-mail but I never did get one, was it suppose to e-mail me right away or when it gets closer to beta?
Also, when will the beta take place?

1) The email will come when they announce beta scheduling. It will come to the email address where you receive the newsletter. If you do not yet receive the newsletter, you should sign up and hope the signup works (there is no confirmation).

2) The beta will take place sometime after right now. We won’t know when until the email in (1) goes out.

Since the portal hunt is ending this weekend, sometime between Wed and next Weekend would be the earliest possible time for the beta event

“Just a reminder, this weekend is the last one to find a Portal to the Heart of Maguuma.”
