This is something I’ve been thinking about while spending 2-3 silver at a time going from waypoint to waypoint.

What happens if you spent all your money and you’re on your last few copper and suddenly die for whatever reason. What happens?

To clarify, also from the GW2 wiki:

" If a character is defeated with no coin, coin will be taken from their account vault. If their account vault is also empty, they can be revived for free at the nearest waypoint."

you remain dead until some divine souls (another player) run by and see your carcass and kind enough to rez you. Been there, flat broke, dead cannot user waypoint, very sad moment and quite funny one too.

And if you’re in an area where chances are no one will come to your aid? Can you log off and log back in and be up again? Or are you still dead on teh ground where you were before?

LOL I am tempted to deposit all my money in the bank, and die with an alt just to see what happens.

no u will reconnect dead kyosji, unless theres a timer, i tried that and i reconnected dead.

If you are dead and don’t have enough money for a WP the nearest WP WILL be free of charge

Or you can always use the pvp tab to get to the heart of the mist and port to LA from there (not 100% sure if this works while dead)

“Travel to the nearest waypoint never costs more money than you have in your inventory or bank, being free in particular if you’re broke. Thus, defeated broke players can always revive at the nearest waypoint (unless contested).”

I’d get on an alt and mail some money to a friend to return to me. Then open the mail on the broke one.

But unless you’re doing it deliberately, it’s just not gonna happen, cuz you don’t die that much in GW2, at least not in areas where you have to pay to waypoint.

Ah ok, since the arrow pointed at me i tought it was about me, sorry for mistake.

The simple fact is, if you die and are broke, you will be able to use the nearest waypoint for free.

If you have any money in your bank it will use the gold from your bank if you don’t have enough on you. If you have no money on you OR in your bank then it will be free (i think)
