So I upgraded last time when the digital upgrade was $5, but I really love the armor that came with it for getting keys (it’s just getting a little tiring playing the same class all the time lol), I was wondering if I could still get the Heroic Edition so I could get another set of armor? Or is there a way to get that armor separate?

You can either buy a new account (you won’t be able to share the armor with your first account), or buy the armor in the Gem Store.

Deluxe upgrades are automatically Heroic editions, hence the armor bonus you received.

You can play any profession when doing key runs. You don’t have to wear any specific armor set. But, if you prefer your Legacy Armor, it still can be worn by multiple professions (3 Light, 3 Medium, 2 Heavy).
