This is a question to Anet mostly, will the ‘Double XP for All’ be all types of XP gains, including XP gained from crafting? would be awesome to get 16 levels out of doing a craft 1-400!

Probably not, it’s entirely possible, but more likely it’s like a 100% boost like celebration and birthday boosters (neither of which works on crafting)

I hadn’t even considered that. I assumed it was just a boost to leveling XP, but if it does apply to crafting XP as well… I can see myself doing a LOT of crafting on the weekend.

And a piggyback question, how will it combine with other XP boosts?

If I pop a 50% XP increase on kills, will I be getting 200% (if the double simply overrides other boosts) 250% or 300% xp per kill?

Will dungeon XP be doubled to 140% of your level.

I asked the same question yesterday, got no official answer.

I’m hoping it works like the Birthday Booster, basically double everything.

What would be awesome would be if it was like the Birthday Booster, stacks with the Birthday Booster. Not entirely crazy; Birthday Booster itself already stacks with XP Boost consumables, food, and weapon boosts.

I’m wondering when exactly this begins. In other games I’ve seen double exp weekends start on a friday afternoon. It seems like its implied when the PAX thing starts tomorrow, but I can’t seem to find an answer?
