My buddy wants to delete his character and move his home world to mine so we can play.

Since currency is account bound now it won’t be deleted when he deletes his character right?

Correct. His wallet will move with him, as well as his bank. Only soul-bound items are non-transferable when deleting all characters to facilitate a free server transfer. Just put everything in the bank, and pick it up with the new characters.
