Dear players/developers,

I know the answer is probably no, but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t ask it: are there any plans to make transfers to other servers (including high populated servers) free for a limited time? The reason why I’m asking this is to prevent me smashing my head on the keyboard because it became free/cheaper the day after I transferred.

While you wait for a dev answer i’ll tell that you that we probably won’t get free transfers again for a while as we just had limited ones to medium servers 2 weekends ago as a special measure.

I seriously doubt this will happen. If there is some sort of “sale” on transfers, my guess is it’ll be many months away.

I hope that you get the response you seek, but they are very unlikely to incentivize transferring to higher population servers in any way.

You already missed it. A short while back there were free transfers to medium population servers.

We don’t want to destabilize WvW again as frequently happened while transfers were free. So, one of the only reasons you’ll probably see free transfers is to populate less populated servers.
