Will the team be looking at providing us with one, world-wide guild instead of the server branches that we have currently? It looks like many social guilds will be losing the ability to keep members on their own home world because of WvW concerns, but I’d really like for members to be able to benefit from guild bonuses, infrastructure and earn influence while repping the guild even if they switch home worlds. Is the team working toward this goal? Is it even a goal for anyone except guild leaders?

Aye! I was just about to post that this was a concern for my alliance as well when I realized that you are my alliance.

My guild has a group of members who are relatively busy and possibly won’t log into the game before the 28th to see any announcements regarding a server transfer, so the odds that we’d wind up with members split between servers is relatively high. There are three people right now who have already switched between two different servers, and as a leader of the guild I’m frustrated by the prospect that our existing upgrades and bonuses will no longer apply to them and that their contributions will no longer count to help further improvements for everyone. I’m also not entirely looking forward to the prospect of attempting to move everyone en masse to a new server since the favorite choice has been notoriously high/full recently and guild upgrades and vault items are a concern (in addition to the members that will likely miss the window of opportunity to move for free).

I could have sworn that I read a developer mentioning ANet was looking into something to address cross-server guild problems, but I have not seen anything recently giving a timeline, if this was still being considered, or what any potential solutions would be.
