So for the first time ever I did all the living story achievements because it gave those account bound armour pieces as rewards. Very special to me as they are account bound plus have a nice selection of stats to choose from and that helps with my alts who want to try viper’s stat based builds.

I am a pretty casual player and not rich, and I would like to create a full set of account bound armour and was wondering if there are plans to keep adding amour pieces as rewards for living story achievements that are account bound. I got the head piece and shoulder piece, so will there be more pieces in that set?

Ascended gear is account bound and, with the stat swapping mystic forge recipe, have access to vipers (and other new) stat combos.

They’re not exactly cheap, but not incredibly expensive either. Depending on your play times and preference of what to do ingame, you can casually farm the cash to make about 1 piece per day.
The backpiece (in bloodstone fen and ember bay) have access to new stat combos and are purchasable for map currency.
Bloodstone Fen has an amulet and ring that can also be made with new stat combos and are purchasable for map currency.
Ember Bay has trinkets with access to new stat combos, and are purchasable for map currency.

Generally, Anet is more likely to offer helmets, shoulders, gloves (and sometimes boots) for achievement rewards, because those pieces do not require as extensive checking to match them to already existing armor sets. The chest and leg pieces, on the other side, are highly problematic and are the main reason why there’s not that much new armor sets in the game.

So, do not count for those two pieces to be released in a similar way. You may get more headpieces and backpacks, though.
