As the title states, I have some questions on purchasing bank slots.

1) How many slots do you get?
2) What is the maximum number of bank slots?

2) 8 × 30 = 240 slots

Yeah, uh, has anyone actually filled all 240. Ever? I honestly can’t see why ANYONE would need 240 slots. That’s more than enough room to fit an entire charr warba….. okay, I can see one use from a lore perspective.

Oh, but filling all slots is no problem whatsoever. Mine are almost full most of the time. Then again I have 8 characters and all crafting disciplines.

…how…. Seriously, what do you put in there? I honestly have no idea how one would fill 120 slots, let alone 240

Crafting materials that can’t be stored in collectibles tab, town clothes, stuff for each alt, etc. It’s pretty easy for me. Guess it just depends on your playstyle though.

It is very easy to fill up, especially so if one is a cook as many of our intermediate stage food stuffs won’t go in the ingredients tab.

Just having a few bank slots open at max bank capacity is a challenge for me. (I do have have 22 chars on one acct, so thats a lot more need than an acct with base stock chars.)

I wish we could buy more.

Seriously, cooking eats a whole entire tab with the stuff you can’t store in collection.

Then I have my alternate armor set, black lion junk, wide range of transformation elixirs, WvW blueprints, and tons of stacks of food from the halloween event (I opened thousands of trick-or-treat bags) some harvesting materials I bought with karma, and some other things I forget.

that easily fills my 120 slots, and now gems are ridiculous expensive meaning I probably wont get more.

With one non-crafting character, 8 bank slots it might be a lot. With 4 characters and 8 crafting professions it isn’t difficult to fill them all. I have filled all my bank slots and really wish I could buy more.

for those who didn’t buy extra slots early on (before DR and when the gold-for-gems rate was literally 7-8x lower) its starting to be a real pain to get extra storage

the rate is now 2.3-2.5g per 100 gems and you need 600 gems for an extra 30 slots. Thats getting close to 15g.. i just spent 8g the other day adding a bag slot and this was the next goal. But 15g is a bit steep, i wish the gem rate would go down

Yes I’m in the same boat. Bought an extra bank slot for 8G and wanted to get another one today…..I AIN’T PAYING DOUBLE THE GOLD!
