Hi guys, I need help with two items, the Vials of Manganese Dioxide and the Shatterer.

I’ve been farming Corals for days but I only have 1 Vial, am I missing something here? Is there any Coral farm out there? I tried from Cursed Shore to Maelstrom but I already got bored of this.

Regarding the Shatterer, has there been any comment made about fixing this “get encased in crystal” thing? I remember that there was an achievement for breaking those crystals and freeing the people inside, but he does not use this attack anymore.

I’ve invested a lot in this collection and it is getting super frustrating.

Yes, it can be a bit frustrating. I needed like 70-80 corals until I had my 10 vials. Mostly there is only 1 coral node per lake in the 50+ zones. But I did find 4 nodes around the POI south of Old Sledge Site WP. There’s always 4 per character, though their location changes each hour apparently. Swim in a spiral pattern with the POI at the center and you should find them on each character you bring.

Regarding the Shatterer: Bring a high toughness character, I’ve read they get targetted more often by that attack. I stood close to its right foot between its legs and moved a bit under it when it did its purple lightning storm attackittenpt taking damage, was encased.

In addition to what MLinni said above, if you could get your hands on some gathering boosters, they help a ton in obtaining the vials each time. I think you can use the following boosts for this:

As for Shatterer, since only about 5-6 people who are closer to him seem to get encased each time, it might be a better idea to try and join a “not so populated” map in order to increase your chance of getting encased. I know this isn’t as easy as it sounds, but showing up a bit late to the event (after the initial zerg maps are formed) could do the trick. Just make sure there’s enough people around to actually finish the pre-events and you’ll be fine

Whan can I say:
For Vials: There is more places with corals (you can try google “coral farm”) anyway it took me around 2 hours to get 10 of them
For Shatterer: I did it on second try. First time was on map with a lot of ppl and I stand in front of dragon.. Then after we kill him I relog and end up on other map with around 10-15 ppl. I stand on his left claw (not with other ppl) and got this achievement after few seconds of fight. So if I can give you a hint for this I would say: try to find map with low population and stay on left claw during fight

For Shatterer, I’ve heard you should stand by his foot, and when the battle is about half way done, relog. With luck it’ll throw you into a low population map and you’ll be one of the only people standing in front of him. Good luck!

Thanks a lot guys, I’ve been able to get the Shatterer done by switching servers right after completing the pre-event and finally got encased in the crystal in a not-so-empty server.

I have not been so lucky with the Corals, so I guess I still have some grind to do.

Now I see the light at the end of the tunnel :p
