Quick question about transmuting items
You will retain the name and appearance of item b, while retaining stats of item a.
Transmuting has changed though, Idk if you’re just returning, but you use charges now and take the look straight from wardrobe, so you are no longer combining two items when you transmute. I hope that makes sense!
So, there’s absolutely nothing at all left of item a but the stats? And I’m a new player haha, I’m trying to make my first character look good now it’s level 80
Also, I looked up getting more transmutation charges without paying as I only have 7, does it still work if you create a new character and explore the cities?
Exactly. Nothing but the stats. And you don’t have to make a new character, you actually get nice rewards (and pretty much one transmutation and sometimes BL keys) from completing ANY map, so go ahead and map with your main.
All the skins are in wardrobe. Nothing’s really destroyed since skins have kinda moved to a very mutable place atm. Basically there’s a default skin that can be replaced, keeping the stats, but you always have the other skin since it’ll be added to your wardrobe. Nothing to lose cept a transmute charge.
Ah that’s awesome
And I was more planning for the future once I’ve got all the exploration done haha. It’s just taking me a while as I’m going bioshock completionist style and trying to speak to each npc so I don’t miss anything interesting :P
And photonman, I’m not worried about losing the original armor, I was worried about transmutation charges leaving behind other things aside from the stats
