Hello friends,

I just blew all my skill points gaining my [Gift of Fortune] and now I need 200 more skill points for my bloodstone.

I am at 70% world completion and therefore will get some of my 200 just by completing the world (I also always us an XP booster just to help with this)

So when the world is complete what is the fastest way to grind out the remaining points? Would it be farming in Arah or just grinding fractals?

If anyone has been in my position before I’d love to know what you did!

I would say dungeons. You get a huge exp bonus for finishing it, + tokens and coins.

Make a new character.

Took about 2 weeks to get from 1-80, and simply complete every skill point challenge on all the maps you come across.

The bloodstone shard is soulbound, but the exploration gift+obsid shards+gift of battle are account bound. Use the newly minted level 80 character to craft your gift of mastery (account bound).

Map. Completion.

You can try the dredge fractal, go into the spinning grinder room and use some exp boosters and whack a mole away

You get tons of exp running CoF or AC over and over

on average, each dungeon run seems “close” to one full level (i’ve seen the number 75% of a level thrown around before). so like Blix ^^^ mentioend, some of the faster dungeon runs can help achieve that, as well as net you some gold. ; ))

on the other hand, if you have crafts you wanna level up, you can do that as well.

Each dungeon run gives you 70% of your current level which means Arah would be a bad choice since it takes so long. Don’t forget the +10%(I think there is also a +15%) from food.

Did you ask if Fractals was an option because of the option to buy “sp” items? If not well then that would be a bonus to it. You not only get the normal exp for doing the fractals but you can then use the relics to buy skill points. Still not sure if this would be the fastest method tho.

Dungeons, wvw, or Cursed shore events are how I do it. Pent/Shelter/Plinx etc can get you a level pretty quickly, as can a good run in WvW. Dungeons are probably the fastest, but suffer from DR, unlike the other two options.

Play the game. 200SP really isn’t much.

Probably on one of your alts you’ve got plenty waiting for you.

35 Fractal relics for a skillpoint. Is an option.

Wow..thanks for all the replies! I can only afford 1-3 hours per day at my computer, so Diminishing Returns has never been an issue for me. I actually completely forgot about how much XP you get in dungeons this I think will be my focus.

WvW is also good for levels and skills points. I have almost 400 on my main WvW character even though I’ve spent a bunch to make superior siege items. I also used a bunch to buy feast recipes at the mystic toilet. At least that recipe always works.
