This gear is not needed, holy cow. You can play just fine without it.
So quit sweating it.
Seen so many people today cry foul about it.

Why are ya’ll up in arms about the “grind” for it?

well, there’s no Cavalier Exotic rings. So I do Kinda need them.

and there is no “infusion” slot on exotic…

Exotic gear is inferior. I don’t want to walk around in Wal-mart armor, I want to walk around in my Armani suit. With Johnny Gat shades.

Before I would never get anything pink. Starting today, I might get a few things, eventually. I think it might work out pretty well.

And I think there are going to add more ways to get the laurels. Hopefully it’s not all tied to dungeons and fractals and PvP (though WvW wouldn’t be bad, I like that a bit). Maybe doing dragon events or other ‘outdoor’ DE stuff, that’d be great. [Group] DEs? Get some more people back to killing that annoying witch at the top of the tower in the middle of the lake in Timberline.

Maybe the new heralds will help direct us to [Group] DEs in areas? Guess we’ll see. Been a fun ride so far.

Just fix my underwater quaggan mask! Darn you art department! :p
