I just wanted to say Thank You to whomever at Anet made the decision to do away with the traditional MMO Questlog. Of all the things you did right with this game perhaps the one thing that stands out to me the most is the questing ie dynamic events & even hearts in this game. I’v always hated “managing” my quest logs in MMO’s , It really took away from the enjoyment of the game.

Anyway I don’t know if “Thank You” threads are allowed on the forums but I just wanted to tell everyone involved with making this Great game , Thanks, Your Hard work is very well appreciated and I haven’t had this much fun in a MMO in a long long time….

Fully agree. Close to 200 levels here between all toons and I’ve looked at the quest log literally twice.

Definitely a positive in my books. Quest logs were such a drag.

Quest logs are good, but for storyline stuff, not every time some random guy in a town wants you to kill 15 bandits.

GW2 does have a quest log in that regard, but you don’t sift through it to figure out what you’re doing. Rather, it’s a nice little thing you can read through for nostalgia or whatever.

So yeah, I do approve of that. One thing I would like to see added though is the ability to replay them via the quest log to fill out a storybook like GW1. You write a page in the storybook for each story mission, then turn it in for rewards. That’d be a nice way to pick up karma. Maybe they can add hard mode versions of story instances in a similar way.

Just sayin’.
