Hello All,

I was curious, I purchased GW2 when it was first released on CD. But now recently i noticed that GW2 has become free to play. What is the difference if any from those that got it free to those that paid for discs?

CD? What did you get a pack of like 30 install disks you have to swap one after the other until the game installed?

You have access to the full game, but areas have level restrictions, as do chat. You can’t purchase what you want off the tp, mail items or gold and you also won’t get login rewards. There is comparison at the f2p download site i believe, check it out
