So I’ve observed over the last few months that the number of exotics I get have dropped GREATLY over the amount I used to get.

I wouldn’t have minded some reduction, but I used to get a couple a week.

Now. It’s been MONTHS since I’ve gotten an elite. That isn’t an exaggeration. I went from getting a couple a week, to nothing for months. The only time I ever get an elite is if I do Tequatl. That’s it. And the last two times it was a freakin spoon.

Meanwhile my friends, who have LOWER magic finds than me, are getting one-two a week. I play as much or more than them too.

I mean, seriously, how the heck have I not gotten one kitten ed elite in months, when they are!!!

I have played this game since it was in beta.

RNG was favoring you now it is just acting like it does for everyone else mostly. Deal with it.

I hardly get crap for drops in this game and if that is the reason you play this game it has been like this from day one. The RNG is just a poor excuse of a lazy company, like most of their content.

I rejoined after a year and the game has been vomitting exotics and rares on me, I had 4 named exotics in the last two days which has been quite exciting. I guess whatever random number seed that had been decided for my account that gave me bad RNG rolls got reset or something, I’m raking in the gold now! OP maybe you could put in a ticket for ANet to reset your seed, it might help!

Like jbrother I play since betas and I think I got about 10~12 exotics since launch.
You probably got a luck period or always had luck and now you dropped to “normal” and ,as many others , thinks that was Anet that nerfed the drop rate.

Really? Hm. I’d assumed my drops were standard and average, as my friend I played with was averaging the same.

Dude, chill. It isn’t illrelevant. Yours would certainly be even more relevant if you’ve been playing since beta and got only one exotic ever, but just because YOU don’t find it irrelevant does not invalidate it.

Heck, I’m having a hard time comprehending your having received only one ever.

I typically average one, maybe two a month (maybe) and I get more than the people I play with.

Interesting. Many friends that took a break, when they got back to the game, also reported about an increase of rares and exotic drops during the first week or two. If that’s really the case, is the RNG really working?

Anyway, I’ve got a some exotics over the past 2 years have been playing, most cheap exotics and only one was really worth something, it was Spirit Links from Shadow Behemoth chest 1 year and 10 months ago, which the price at the time was 93g.

I dont. Up until the introduction of the silver wastes my drop rate was exactly the same after 2 years of playing. 1 exotic drop, And not even a good one, it was serpent stone. Every other exotic i had to buy with gold and dungeon tokens.

then silverwastes came, and i got 2 bonnettis rapiers(when they where worth 40 gold) 1 Truth, Multiple armor pieces, and another bonnettis rapier this week.

diminishing returns anyone? :P
