I am Vindex. I am the kind of guy that keeps creating characters over and over again.
At first, that wasn’t a problem as I did pvp exclusively. Now I started doing some fractals as well and you can understand it’s a pain if you have to remake a character because you want another race.

Is it even possible to have something like this included in the Gem Store for example?

ugh i’ve been dying for a race change option! put it in with the makeover kits, it would work so well

Roll a new character. Problem solved.

Would never come in. It would require a hefty amount of programming to get it workable.
Craft ascended because it’s account bound, Use tomes, and reroll.

Short answer is.no, there is no race change in the gem store, short of buying a character slot.

This has come up alot in the past, ANet have said that race change can not happen with GW2. This is dew to a lot of different things, ranging from PS, to race armour. ANet has said that changing a race can brake and/or block progression of your PS and possibly LS(not sure on this as ANet said no to this well be for LS started). So this will probably never happen. As it would probably brake way more things for players, and there are alot of buged events in game that ANet should/need to fix, I’m looking at you Ogre wars.
